A-G Matching
Review the instructions below very carefully. Failure to follow instructions will delay your admission decision and can ultimately impact your admission decision.
Click Update A-G courses at the bottom of this page to ensure that all
applicable courses have an A-G subject area attached. Courses without an A-G
subject area will not be counted in your GPA, nor will they be counted
towards fulfilling minimum admission requirements. Any course in which you
earned a D or F is not factored into the calculated total years but is
factored into your calculated GPA.
If you have not mapped a course to Area G, and you have completed more courses than are required in another A-F category, the application will automatically fulfill your Area G requirement with an extra course from areas A, B, C, D1, D2, E, or F. If you attempt to manually update a course in the A-G Matching section that has been automatically moved to fulfill the Area G requirement, your changes will not be saved. The course will revert back to Area G.
Note that as a first-time freshman applicant, you must complete all A-G requirements by your high school graduation date.
Be aware that course data from the CCGI also affects A-G subject completion.
For example, if the CCGI classifies a course as fulfilling two years, then
that is reflected here.
Visit the Applicant Help Center for more information and download the Freshman Application Guide for details on courses that can be used to fulfill A-G Subject requirements.
Once you submit your application, you cannot edit this section.
